Greenhouse Gas Emissions from January to June 2026
FC Tokyo, under the Sustainability Strategy, has established four environmental policies and is conducting activities accordingly.
As part of our Climate Positive policy, with the cooperation of the general incorporated association SWiTCH, we have calculated the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with club activities from January to June 2026.
The calculation targets Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3. Regarding Scope 3, emissions related to purchased products and services, facility construction and vehicle manufacturing, energy extraction, production and transportation, transportation, waste, player expeditions, staff business trips, and commuting are included. We also utilize some renewable energy certificates and carbon credits.
This data represents the first-year results of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions calculation at FC Tokyo. Going forward, we will publish annually not only changes in emission volumes but also expansions of the calculation scope and improvements in data quality as indicators showing progress in environmental management. We will continue to work on ongoing improvements to contribute to the Sports Positive League (SPL) and the UNFCCC Sports for Climate Action Framework (S4CA).
