<Competition Format>
(1) Both Division 1 and Division 2 Groups A and B will consist of 10-team leagues played over two rounds. (Home/away matches will be balanced as close to 5:4 as possible.) The bottom three teams in Division 1 will be automatically relegated to Division 2 Groups A and B, respectively. The top team in each Division 2 group will be automatically promoted to Division 1. The second-place teams in each Division 2 group will play a promotion playoff, with the winner promoted to Division 1. The bottom two teams in each group (four teams total) will be automatically relegated to the prefectural leagues, while the top four teams in the Kanto entry playoffs will be automatically promoted to Division 2 Groups A and B, respectively.
(2) Depending on the status of the COVID-19 pandemic, promotion and relegation will be carried out as described above even if the league is played as a single round robin. Rankings will be determined as follows.
(3) The ranking will be determined as follows.
A win is worth 3 points, a draw is worth 1 point, and a loss is worth 0 points. The team with the most points is ranked higher.
If teams have the same number of points, the team with a higher goal difference will be ranked higher.
If the goal difference is the same, the team with the highest total score will be ranked higher.
If the score is the same in the above C, the result will be determined by the results of the match.
If the above is the same, it will be decided by lottery.
(4) Match time is 80 minutes (40 minutes per half)
The halftime interval is 10 minutes (from the end of the first half to the start of the second half)
