[Day 4 Activity Report] France Expedition 2026
It is the 4th day of the France expedition.
It was raining in the morning, so we couldn't all go for a walk or to the bakery together, but the rain stopped after breakfast.
The parade with all participating teams in the tournament took place as scheduled in the morning, and the players were practicing the chants they would perform.
When we arrived at the venue in the morning, many participating teams had already gathered, and we were greeted with many calls of "Konnichiwa" and "Tokyo!"
The team from Saint-Étienne, France, immediately reached out and communicated with FC Tokyo and Dynamo Kyiv.

Since this is their third consecutive year participating, many locals actively approached us, and there were also many fans and supporters wearing FC Tokyo merchandise.

In the parade, the clubs from the local French area were positioned in front and behind, and although they seemed to be overpowering us with their numbers and volume, the players sang chants loudly without giving in and waved to the people on the streets.

Local FC Tokyo fans and supporters also walked together with us.

The tournament is finally starting.
We will steadily raise our condition starting from the warm-up.

The matches are
First match vs Paris FC
Second match vs 1. FC Köln
Third match vs FC Porto
Fourth match vs Clermont Foot
These are the matches.

We were unable to earn any points in the match.
After the final match, tears of frustration were shed, and the players held a meeting. They aim for victory in the final group league match the next day.
On the way back, positive comments such as "Let's look forward!", "There were parts we did well!", and "These are today's points for improvement, so let's fix them tomorrow!" were exchanged actively, and once again the team united to aim for victory.
During the tournament, opponents and other teams would call out, "One shot! OK?" and we quickly made more soccer friends.

*There were also times when local elementary school students asked to take photos with us.
Also, this tournament included a juggling test, which will be used as a tiebreaker if points and total goals are equal.
Since it was a challenge that Coach Tsukamoto had pointed out from the very beginning when the team was formed, we saw improvement compared to the early days.
Tomorrow, first of all, we will aim for victory without being affected by this result!

We also stopped by Coco-san’s place, who was serving as the overall MC during the tournament!

We will not let our frustration be just a momentary feeling, but will "grow" so that we can connect it to the next step!
The tournament will hold the remaining preliminary league match tomorrow, and then move on to the respective ranking leagues.
We will do our best to reach even a little higher!
