[For 2nd Grade Elementary Students] Kids Match supported by Sieg Corporation
On Wednesday, May 6 (a holiday), we held the first "Kids Match supported by Sieg Corporation" of this fiscal year at Ajinomoto Stadium!
The Kids Match is an event for 2nd grade elementary school students before the top team's match, where FC Tokyo Soccer and Futsal School students can experience playing on the same pitch as professional players.
As a once-in-a-lifetime special opportunity, many school students look forward to it every year.
For the school students, it is a valuable opportunity to play a match on the pitch (natural grass) at Ajinomoto Stadium.
This time,
・Kunitachi School / Saturday Class
・Fuchu School / Sunday Class
・Chofu Tobitakyu School / Sunday Class
・Minamiosawa School / Sunday Class
A total of 4 classes were eligible.
This time, it was the only Kids Match held on the day of a J1 Century Vision League match.
On the day, it was very impressive to see the kids working together with their schoolmates, aiming for goals while being watched over by many fans and supporters.
Also, throughout the event, there were many moments where the children boldly took on the challenge of 'dribbling,' which is the current theme being practiced at each venue.
Even when the ball was taken away, the whole team repeatedly fought to regain possession, engaging in a back-and-forth battle, and fine plays were met with loud applause from the stands.
The school students enjoyed soccer with full energy, in an atmosphere just like that of the players!
During the Kids Match, top team players Ryunosuke SATO and Rio OMORI also visited the pitch and watched over the school students.
It was a valuable experience that can only be had here, receiving cheers from the players they usually support.
With the experience gained at Ajinomoto Stadium this time in our hearts, let’s continue to fully enjoy soccer at each school venue while further refining the wonderful plays we showcased to many people!
