FC Tokyo serves as the designated administrator
Introduction of sports facilities
FC Tokyo has been designated as the administrator for the "Kami-igusa Sports Center" in Suginami City and the "Koganei City General Gymnasium" and "Koganei City Kuriyama Park Health Exercise Center" in Koganei City since April 1, 2009. Additionally, FC Tokyo has been designated as the administrator for the "Myoshoji Gymnasium" in Suginami City since October 1, 2016, the "Eifuku Gymnasium" in Suginami City since September 1, 2018, and the "Shimo-takaido Athletic Ground" and "Matsunoki Athletic Ground" in Suginami City since April 1, 2022, and is responsible for the management and operation of each facility.
The "designated manager system" allows the management of public facilities, which was previously permitted only for public organizations (and public corporations established by them), to be managed by general corporations and private enterprises designated by local governments, as well as NPOs, following the amendment of the Local Autonomy Law in 2003.
Since its establishment, FC Tokyo has engaged in various activities to contribute to the local community. The results of these activities have been recognized, and FC Tokyo has been selected as the designated administrator for the Kami-igusa Sports Center for the fourth term, and for two facilities in Koganei City for the third consecutive term, as well as for the Shimo-takaido Athletic Ground and Matsunoki Athletic Ground in Suginami City. Moving forward, we will continue to manage and operate these facilities in cooperation with our partner companies, in line with the team's fundamental philosophy.
