When the students saw Scholz, they showed a little nervousness but welcomed him with loud applause.
Scholz also matched the students’ eye level with a gentle smile and communicated with them carefully!

Regarding the current school theme of "Control and Passing," Scholz gave easy-to-understand advice in Japanese: "When stopping the ball, try to create a wall with the inside of your foot to make it easier to stop!" He further added, "Since I was little, I have been conscious of stopping the ball with the inside of my foot and practiced a lot. That awareness is still important to me now as a professional."

He sent a message to the school students based on his own experience!

Also, when a school student asked, "What do you focus on when you have the ball?", he answered, "I make sure to keep my head up and watch the positions of my teammates and where the opponents are coming from to take the ball," and carefully demonstrated this using the ball.

The expressions of the school students listening to the story were very serious, and the parents watched over them while nodding deeply, creating a very impressive scene.

After the Q&A session, he carefully signed autographs and took commemorative photos with each school student.

At the end of the visit, he called out, "Let's play together!" and participated in the match for 1st and 2nd graders!

In the match, he demonstrated powerful dribbling to move forward and precise passing accuracy, and the school students were deeply impressed by the top-level skills they witnessed up close.

From the school students, many voices such as
“I was happy that Scholz spoke to us in Japanese!”
“It was fun to play together on the same team!”<br/>were raised, and Scholz himself seemed to have received great energy from the students, saying, “Thank you for the enjoyable time today! I will do my best in the remaining two matches!”

This visit became an unforgettable and special time for the school students, where they not only experienced professional skills firsthand but also encountered Scholz’s kind personality and professional spirit, deepening their admiration for soccer and for Scholz himself.

At the FC Tokyo Soccer School, we will continue to actively engage in initiatives that connect school students’ dreams and growth through interactions with top team players.
