□Personal Comment
"Hello everyone! Thank you very much for supporting FC Tokyo on a daily basis."
Although it is in the middle of the season, I, Naohiro ISHIKAWA, have decided to retire at the end of this season.
This morning, I reported on my personal blog, but I injured myself in a friendly match with Frankfurt in August 2015, and although I returned to J3 in September last year after surgery, my condition worsened again. I have been working on rehabilitating my left knee, which has been hurting for my comeback, but I haven't been able to recover as much as I thought. In addition, I have been frustrated by not being able to contribute to the team on the pitch. In this situation, I have become strongly determined to give my all for the remaining season with even stronger determination, responsibility, and pride, which led to this decision.
However, I believe that reflecting on everything will come after the season has ended.
I want to continue pushing forward while sharing the feelings that can only be done now, that can only be felt now, with many teammates.
I want to change the atmosphere and make a dynamic impact on the pitch at Ajinomoto, even for a short period of time, and connect it to results.
I would like to express my gratitude to all the fans and supporters who have supported us so far, including Seok Ho HWANG, and to repay them as a player with the last opportunity we have fought together.
"Thank you" to everyone. And thank you for your continued support.
