□ About "Easy Japanese"
"Easy Japanese" refers to simple and easy-to-understand Japanese that considers the listener, such as by rephrasing difficult words. The number of foreign residents living in Tokyo is approximately 730,000 and is increasing (as of April 2025), with a growing diversity of nationalities. To realize a multicultural society where Japanese and foreigners live and thrive together in the community, it is important to use "Easy Japanese" to communicate while mutually accommodating each other. Furthermore, "Easy Japanese" is not only effective for foreigners but also serves as a highly effective tool for communication with children, the elderly, people with disabilities, and others. Its use is expanding in various fields such as administrative information, daily life information, and daily news dissemination.
