Thank you for always supporting FC Tokyo.

As announced by the J-League on May 17 (Tue), in order to further enhance the experience of watching sports with COVID-19, it has been decided to gradually introduce "vocal support areas/vocal support seats" in each J-League match while implementing effective infection control measures.
◇J-League announcement is here

Definition of Vocal Support
At the spectator seats, it refers to the act of continuously and repeatedly raising one's voice with a louder volume than usual.
※Temporary cheers such as during scoring do not apply.

We plan to gradually introduce under the following conditions.
・A section of the viewing seats for the target match has been designated as a "cheering area where vocal support is allowed" with a wide seat spacing (i.e., staggered seating with empty seats in front, back, and on both sides). Only visitors who purchase seats in the designated area (vocal support seats) are allowed to cheer vocally while wearing non-woven masks.
・Matches that are not eligible for vocal support, or vocal support in non-target areas, continue to be prohibited.
・You can watch the game as usual by filling the seats, except for the "cheering area where you can shout".
・The cheering area where voices can be raised will temporarily be designated as a "voice cheering area", and eating food and drinking alcohol are prohibited, to be done outside the area (however, hydration with non-alcoholic beverages is allowed).
・In accordance with the government's basic response policy, the number of visitors will be limited to 50% of the stadium's total capacity.

Regarding the introduction, it will be decided by each club, so when considering the pros and cons of gradual introduction, we would appreciate your opinion on introducing vocal support in the seat type you are currently purchasing or in another seat type.

Since the spread of the new coronavirus infection in 2020, we have prioritized the safe and secure holding of matches and have limited the style of support such as cheering with a loud voice from the perspective of infection prevention. As research on infection risks progresses domestically and internationally, we have gradually reviewed the guidelines and, with the understanding and cooperation of fans and supporters who come to the venue, we have reached a situation where matches can be held without causing cluster infections from the stadium as of 2022. We would like to express our sincere gratitude.

As the next step, we aim to create an environment where we can achieve both the energy and unity through sports, while also ensuring a safe and secure operation, along with the recovery of the soccer support culture. We appreciate your continued understanding and cooperation.
