【Report】FC Tokyo Players' Elementary School Visit

On November 9 (Tue), 16 (Tue), and 17 (Wed) in 2021, FC Tokyo Players' Association conducted elementary school visits.

This visit, which is the 14th visit as part of the FC Tokyo Players Association's elementary school visit, was conducted online again this year due to the impact of the novel coronavirus.
Although it was through a screen, we had a fun interaction with the children from our hometown.

□Comment from Takuya UCHIDA (President of FC Tokyo Players Association)
"We conducted school visits again this year with the desire of all the players to be a positive influence and provide power to the elementary school students in our hometown who always support us. I was worried about whether I could convey what I wanted to say properly since it was online, but I was relieved that we were able to have a more solid conversation than I expected. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we cannot physically go to schools and interact with elementary school students, but I believe there are things we can convey just by talking, so I am really glad that we were able to carry this out with the cooperation of everyone around us. By talking with the local elementary school students, I felt that we have to work harder than ever, and I was reminded that we need to show the image of being 'professional soccer players who are admired' as we envisioned when we were elementary school students ourselves."
