<Kento HASHIMOTO>
Q: Please tell us your impression of Yokohama FC, who are set to face off in the J1 League opening match.
A: They showed an incredible performance in the J2 League last season, and I believe they will carry that momentum into the league opening match. I think it will be a very tough game, but we have also been able to continue working well since the Okinawa camp. We are well prepared, so we want to make it a good match. I'm looking forward to it.
Q: What is the atmosphere of the current team like from Kento HASHIMOTO's perspective?
A: It may seem like there are many young players, but veterans such as Yuto NAGATOMO and Masato MORISHIGE are showing intense play even during practice, creating a great atmosphere and momentum.
Q: During the J-League opening event, you mentioned that you would like to see plays such as "tackles."
A: I pride myself on contributing to the team defensively, and I focus on quickly becoming the starting point of attack after winning the ball. As a team, we aim to play an attacking style of soccer, and to embody that style, I want to contribute by actively winning the ball in the midfield position.
Q: How is the preparation for the Okinawa camp coming along?
A: The camp became one where all the players were able to work while being conscious of what Coach Rikizo MATSUHASHI demands. There are still some tentative parts, but I believe it will take shape from here. The coach has told us to play soccer where we control the ball and take the initiative. We are constantly told to "be more aggressive."
