The preparation for the 2024 season has also entered the second camp of the preseason, and today the Okinawa-Itoman camp has started.
Nishizaki Sports Park, the campsite venue, was blessed with clear weather and was surrounded by warm Okinawan air, true to the camp location.
Tomorrow will be completely closed, the day after tomorrow's activities will be off, and the open training will be only today. However, many fans and supporters, as well as local people, came to the stands and gave the team and players passionate support.
At the beginning of the practice, we held a welcome ceremony and received words of encouragement and a commemorative gift from the Mayor of Itoman, Toma Mamei.

Continuing the second camp, we focus on training to improve each player's ball feeling. Matching the quality and speed of passes, as well as the awareness of the passer and receiver, will enhance game control during matches.
At the end of the training, players are placed in their respective positions and share the process of aiming for the goal. We confirmed many variations such as breaking through the center, crosses from the sides, and building up from the back line.

After practice, we interviewed number 9 player Diego OLIVEIRA.

Q, the Okinawa-Itoman camp has started today.
A, my condition is very well maintained and in good shape. I feel that not only myself but also the overall atmosphere and condition of the team are good. There is still some time before the league season starts, so I do not want to be satisfied with the current situation and aim to improve even further from here. I will work to get into the best condition to deliver my best performance.
Q, Last season you scored a career-high 15 goals in the league. I think the expectations from those around you are even higher this season than before.
A, I feel pressure and expectations on me in various ways. However, I believe that if I can play throughout the season with my usual play and a calm mind, good results will follow.
Q, the camp is approaching its final stages. How will you coordinate your combination with your teammates from here on?
A, I want to focus on the coordination between existing players and new signings. Since high-quality players have newly joined, I aim to deepen our teamwork not only during the camp period but also in the upcoming practice matches and training sessions, so that we can welcome the league opener in a good condition.
