<Peter CKLAMOVSKI Manager>
Q, How do you evaluate the first practice match during the early stages of the camp?
A, I believe we were able to show the good parts of our growth. There were also elements we aimed to bring out, and I view that positively. In terms of work rate, I think this was a match where we were able to firmly build up our stamina. We were able to score in good situations, and it was a game that showed promising signs. The players gave their all with what they currently have, and we achieved good physical results. From here, I hope we can steadily develop each element of what we want to do.

Q, a total of 8 goals were scored, please tell us about the feeling of that.
A, I think it was a very good result. Even in situations where we didn’t score, we were able to make plays that posed a threat to the opponent. I believe we showed something very exciting. We want to continue growing from here to become even more threatening. It was a good day, but I think there were still many things we need to work on.
Q, What aspects does the team want to further improve?
A, Everything. I believe there are parts of our attack that are still growing. We want to build something more powerful and highly entertaining. To become a strong team, we also want to firmly establish defensive awareness. There are many areas to build up in all aspects, including offense, defense, and set plays. We have discussed these points with the team, and it was good that we were able to score from a set play in today’s practice match.

Q, How was the first practice game of the season?
A, I was glad that we were able to deliver a solid performance both in terms of condition and the content of the match.
Q, We were able to keep a clean sheet in the first half.
A, As a defender, being able to finish any match without conceding a goal builds confidence. Everyone was focused, and we worked hard to keep a clean sheet, so it was good.
Q, What kind of personal sense of achievement did you have?
A, There are still many areas I need to work on, but I was able to demonstrate some of the ball-winning skills we've been focusing on during the camp, so I believe things are progressing smoothly.

Q: How was the game in retrospect?
A, There are many challenges as a team, but we were able to finish the first practice match with a victory. We managed to keep a clean sheet in the first half, and although there were chances we had to convert, we were able to score three solid goals, which I think is a very positive outcome. Of course, there are many points to improve both defensively and offensively, so I hope we can work on these improvements in the upcoming training sessions during the camp. I believe everyone feels that we can make progress, so we want to keep getting better and better.
Q: Which specific areas do you think need improvement?
A, there were several instances where the timing of pressing in defense was off, and some miscommunications in attack. However, I believe we created significantly more chances compared to last season in today’s match, so I see this positively, thinking that if we can improve, we should be able to score even more goals.

Q, the second goal was initiated by player Yoshifu Kase.
A, during the early part of the first half, our pressing was not working well. We discussed it at halftime and clarified what needed to be done, which made pressing easier. In the second half, we improved and were able to score. It was good that we could effectively adjust the issues during the match.
Q, it looked like you were playing while considering the timing of your attacking participation and positioning more than last season.
A, new attacking players have joined, and the demands on the full-back position have increased significantly compared to last season, so there are still many aspects I haven't fully grasped yet. I feel that once I get a hold of this, the range and potential of my own play will expand even more, so I’m enjoying it. There are many coaches who teach positioning, so I ask a lot of questions. In today’s match, I worked on sharing positioning and awareness through communication with the newly joined player Keita ENDO, and I’m enjoying the process of trial and error.

Q, it was the first practice game after joining. Please look back on the game.
A, I felt like I really played a match for the first time in a while. In Germany, I had a long period without being able to participate in matches, but I kept training on my own, so there were no physical issues. I think the team played good soccer, and through today’s game, I was able to identify some challenges. I want to coordinate with Kashif BANGNAGANDE, who plays on the same side, to address them.
Q, During the time when you were unable to participate in matches, what was the most difficult thing?
A, Since I was also off the bench for a long time, watching the game from the stands was the toughest part. Even so, after each match ended, I went to the gym and trained so that I could perform well when given the chance. It was just one game, but it was really enjoyable.

Q, What was the biggest gain from playing in the game after a long time?
A, The most important thing was finishing without injury. The team was able to score goals, and I was also involved in the goals myself, so it was good.
Q, Do you feel confident about the coordination in the forward line?
A, There were scenes where I scored through individual ability, as well as scenes where we broke through with combinations to score. I think it was good because we were able to play with high precision.
