[Day 8 Activity Report]
On the 4th day of the TSF International Tournament, the final day, we faced two matches to determine the final rankings.
The first match was against Strasbourg, our second encounter in this tournament. Although we fell behind in the first half, we caught up in the second half and the match ended in a draw. It went to a penalty shootout, but unfortunately we lost and could not secure a victory.
The second match that followed was against Marseille. This was also the second encounter with them in this tournament. The match saw the opponent holding possession for long periods, preventing us from establishing our own rhythm, and we ended up losing as a result.
After completing the entire schedule, an awards ceremony was held in the afternoon. Although FC Tokyo did not reach the championship, they received the Fair Play Award. As a result of the placement matches, the final ranking was 8th place.
After the entire tournament schedule was completed, the whole team expressed their gratitude to the staff who had taken care of them for four days and left the venue. Also, the players once again conveyed their thanks to Luca, who supported the team during the period, and then returned to the hotel to end the day.
Tomorrow is the final day of the tour. In the morning, we will do sightseeing in Paris, and in the afternoon, we will return to Tokyo Haneda by flight.
