2025 Season “TOKYO GROW WITH” Program Activity Report ④
We report on the activities of the "TOKYO GROW WITH" program (student business staff) implemented from the 2025 season.
This program aims for student business staff to expand their potential and aspire to become the next generation of leaders through real-world experience in a sports environment.
Final Activity Report Meeting for Student Business Staff (Online)

In this program, five student business staff members were assigned to different departments, where they supported operations and worked on problem-solving.
At the final activity report meeting, each participant presented their activities, achievements, and the lessons they learned, reflecting on the entire program. It became an opportunity for each student business staff member to share the growth and insights they gained through practical experience.
"TOKYO GROW WITH" Program Completion Ceremony
(Ajinomoto Stadium)

In this program, student business staff learned about club operations on-site through practical work in each department, home game management, and study sessions over approximately nine months. As the culmination of this, the program completion ceremony was held at Ajinomoto Stadium after the home game of the 2025 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Sec. 38 vs Albirex Niigata.
On the day, although one person had to participate on a different day due to illness, certificates of completion were handed to the four participating student business staff by President Kawagishi and the student mentors.
Looking back on the activities so far, it became a time to share the experiences and growth that the students have gained through this program with many business staff members.
Comments from Student Business Staff
Public Relations & Promotion Department - S
As a student business staff member in the Public Relations & Promotion Department, I mainly worked at the Kodaira Ground and gained valuable experience and many lessons. During the program, I was involved in a wide range of tasks, including shooting and selecting photos for the team’s TRAINING PHOTOS, as well as drafting text for posts on X.
What I was particularly conscious of was taking actions that lead to increased satisfaction for the fans and supporters who cheer for FC Tokyo. For example, although it may be a small thing, I focused on delivering a sense of presence by selecting photos for the training photos that convey the players' dynamism. Also, during interactions, I made sure to actively communicate so that visitors would not feel any inconvenience or dissatisfaction.
Being able to experience the tension and sense of responsibility that can only be felt on site is a great asset for me. I want to make use of this experience in the remainder of my student life and future, and grow into a person who can think and act from the other person's perspective.
Merchandising Department - H
In this program, as a member of the Merchandising Department, I was responsible for creating promotional banners for goods and making POP displays to be posted at the stadium goods store. Initially, I was scheduled to prepare materials for requesting designs from others, but by actually experiencing banner design myself, I was able to proactively learn about the designs necessary for promotion and how to effectively convey the products.
Also, by learning about the process of creating new products and observing photography and promotions up close, I was able to experience what the merchandise field is really like.
Looking back on this activity, I believe it was a program that embodied my original desire to 'apply what I learn about real-world constraints to my future design work.' Thank you very much for this valuable experience over approximately nine months.
Area Promotion Department - Mr. O
Through the “TOKYO GROW WITH” program, I mainly participated in hometown activities and booth exhibitions at local events. In this era of advancing internet society, I was able to once again realize the value of places where people can have hands-on experiences. Through the experience of interacting with the club, local residents changed from simply “knowing about it” to “feeling close to it,” and I was able to observe and learn from this process up close. In particular, the interactions with local children at events are grassroots efforts that lead to future fans and supporters, and I realized that it is precisely this accumulation that supports the club’s foundation within the community.
I want to apply the experience of learning the significance and challenges of various activities to my future career path and practical work.
Operations Department - Mr. T
To make the stadium viewing experience more comfortable for all visitors, I worked on hospitality-focused operations and was responsible for the process of identifying issues, improving, and implementing solutions based on visitor survey analysis. From the feedback received from fans and supporters, I recognized room for improvement in the signage inside and outside the stadium, so I organized all the signs and examined their effectiveness. Based on that, I created tapestries that are highly visible even during congestion and clearly show the relationship between the current location and the destination at a glance, and succeeded in displaying them at three locations in the concourse.
I realized the importance of approaching challenges from diverse perspectives and respecting each opinion through this program. I am deeply grateful for this valuable experience made possible by the efforts of many people.
Entertainment Department - Mr. H
While mainly in charge of event management inside and outside the stadium on match days, I found great fulfillment in thinking about how to make the club FC Tokyo and the event of the match appealing beyond just the sport of soccer.
Seeing the guests participate in the events I planned myself, and the stadium shining in blue and red with the penlights I operated, as well as being involved in the entire process from planning and managing the event to having the fans and supporters experience it firsthand, was a valuable experience that could only be gained through this program.
To everyone in the department who warmly welcomed me, to all the colleagues who always helped me, and to everyone involved, thank you very much. I will continue to support FC Tokyo from now on.
I hope that the experience gained from this program will support my future career development and challenges, and on behalf of the entire club, we cheer for your continued success!
We are also planning to implement the “TOKYO GROW WITH” program for the 2026/27 season. Details on how to apply will be announced on the club’s official website and social media as soon as they are decided.
