Yuto NAGATOMO player SAMURAI BLUE (Japan national team) member selection announcement
Today, we are pleased to announce that Yuto NAGATOMO, a player belonging to our club, has been selected as a member of the SAMURAI BLUE (Japan national team) for the Kirin Challenge Cup 2025 to be held in October 2025, as announced by the Japan Football Association (JFA).

“I am honored to have been selected again and to be able to fight as a member of the SAMURAI BLUE.
Looking ahead to next year's World Cup, this is a valuable opportunity to play against strong South American teams. I want to give my absolute best performance and absorb as much as possible.
However, first and foremost, as a Tokyo player, I will give everything to secure victory in the match against Shimizu S-Pulse. Right now, I am focusing solely on that and preparing accordingly. By winning the Shimizu match, I will carry good momentum and energy into the national team.
