In the 2019 J. League Awards held today, six players from FC Tokyo—Sei Muroya, Masato Morishige, Diego Oliveira, Kensuke Nagai, Kento Hashimoto, and Akihiro Hayashi—were selected for the Best Eleven.

□Sei Muroya Comment

“I’m so happy to be selected as one of the Best Eleven.
I think the people around me put me to good use, and it was really a first for me where I could flourish.
So my result is thanks to my teammates. Thank you.”
□Masato Morishige Comment

Since the previous win (2016 season), there were seasons where I couldn’t play as I expected due to my injury, but I’m happy to have been selected for the Best Eleven.
I think that personal award is solely due to the team’s results, so I’m thankful to all my team mates, fans, and supporters.
□Diego Oliveira Comment

I’m really glad to be selected as one of the Best Eleven.
I think it’s all thanks to God, my family, and all the fans and supporters that I was able to receive this award.
I was able to individually get this award, but next year, I want us to take the title. Again, I’d like to express my thanks to everyone in the team, and all the fans and supporters.
□Kensuke Nagai Comment

“It is such an honor to be selected as Best Eleven. I think it’s precisely because of my teammates’ support that I’m able to win this award, so I am extremely grateful to them.
I want to work hard to leave behind even better results next year.”
□Kento Hashimoto Comment

“I am so happy to have been able to win an award with such prestige.
I am grateful to my teammates, our coach, the staff, and everyone involved in FC Tokyo.
Without being satisfied with just this, we will aim even higher and work harder.
Please continue supporting us from here on.”
* Kento Hashimoto has been selected for SAMURAIBLUE (Japan national team) and appeared at the J. League Awards, which were broadcast alongside the EAFF E-1 Football Championship 2019 Finals held in South Korea.
□Akihiro Hayashi Comment

“This is the first time that I’ve received this kind of award, so I am very happy.
It would have been ideal to be the champions and be selected in the Best Eleven, but I’m still proud.
I am thankful to everyone who has supported us up to now.”
