Kensuke Nagai and Kento Hashimoto called up for the Samurai Blue (Japan National Team)
The Japan Football Association (JFA) has today announced that two of our players, Kensuke Nagai and Kento Hashimoto, have been called up for the Samurai Blue (Japan National Team) to participate in the team’s 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar and AFC Asian Cup China PR 2023 Preliminary Joint Qualification – Round 2 matches in October.
□Kensuke Nagai Comment
“I’m going to keep myself in top condition and will do my best for the win.
And also we have some crucial games coming up at FC Tokyo, so I’ll make sure I’m able to pick up where I left off there.”
□Kento Hashimoto Comment
“I’m going to do everything I can to rise to this challenge and repay the Japan National Team for selecting me.
I’m going to show everyone what I can do as a representative from FC Tokyo and work hard to help the team get these wins.”
